This perception of self leads to unbalanced individualism, and takes away from interdependence, which is needed to build a strong society.

In the video, the narrator talks about having the courage to change the things you can change having serenity to accept the things you can’t. This is known as the serenity prayer and you’re asking God for wisdom to tell the difference. Encourage anyone reading this. God loves you lean on him and lean on Jesus Christ who is in you who does give you real strength for the present challenges and the ones to come.

Don't like AI generated voice, BUT very well written getting right to the heart of Stoic concepts. Excellent overall. I do find the statement of being invicible a little too much.. conceit? No human is invicible. Believing that you are invicible will probably be your downfall and weakness.

When someone disrespect me, I pray about it and walk away in silence. Silence is a killer, you cannot take back spoken words, neither can you responsible for saying nothing.

I've been feeling like this in a friendship i am about to end. The person is very selfish and always want others to give more and do more so they can gain and don't want to give up anything to gain. Plus they good at manipulating and lying but i am on to them. I am glad the universe sent me this video its my confirmation. Thanks for the upload

Cut people off that are your potential problematic future obviously you have to have a good insight into these types due to past events unfortunately not all people are switched on and fall prey I've had to learn some very tough life issues but I'm a decent human caught up in a very broken world manufactured by people not using their own experiences and minds to work out what is going on but also sadly some are not able due to vulnerability but most have turned to robot thinking and being controlled by media etc etc 😤😤

It is impossible to insult someone else; when stooping to insult, one simply insults oneself and humanity in general, and provides insight as to your opponent's emotional maturity.

Working in retail- this happens a lot. I had a lady screaming ( not exaggerating) at me over a price tag. She was freaking out- out of control. I calmly told her stop stop yelling at me - I said it’s not good for me, my employees and you. She closed her mouth - dropped her eyes and said okay. Completely changed her demeanor.

You don't have to be a stoic to learn this. The Holy Bible says that you are valuable (Matthew 10:29-31); to always turn the other cheek (Matthew 5:38); and forgive because you were forgiven (Proverbs 10:12).

It doesn't work as often as this tutorial and its foolish believer's think......it is simply best to act as everyone has AIDS and every other sexual transmitted decease ......Only Speak to those you seriously need to......and keep away from mundane and the Toxic communication. As the only person who will make perfect sense....is yourself to yourself. The rest will eventually become pointless

I had a situation where the team I had worked with and trusted for five long years virtually without incidentX decided behind closed doors and unbeknownst to me, to argue for my contract to not be renewed. I don’t know who was for or against, and they refused to tell me but it was a challenge I wouldn’t wish upon anyone. One colleague said I should quit and I went through every emotion you can imagine. In the end, I remained stoic because I knew I was above the turmoil and reminded myself about the responsibilities I still possessed and that my responses to all these betrayals were completely within my control. So I continued as if nothing had happened but changed the way I approached any of them. The guilt of the shame and betrayal is all theirs and not mine to carry. The apologetic way they acted towards the end was pointless because it was too late for them to apologize and they knew it. In the end, I moved on from it and went to an even higher plane in a new position and didnt look back in anger. It’s a sorely true that you can’t control the thoughts and actions of others but you can definitely be above it all when refusing to stoop to their level, whereby you shame them for what they have done simply by remaining stoic.
